BIOGRAPHY

Tom Judd, MS, CCE, CPHQ, CPHIMS, FACCE, FHIMSS

He is the Secretary of the International Federation of Medical and Biological Engineering / Clinical Engineering’s Division (IFMBE / CED), our clinical engineering global society. In 2016, he retired from Kaiser Permanente (KP) after being working for 25 years, half as the National Director of Projects, Clinical Technology, and the rest as the Director of Quality and Patient security of KP Georgia. In general, he has more than 40 years of experience in Healthcare Technology, with a particular focus on Global Clinical Engineering. He has a national certification in Clinical Engineering, Healthcare Quality and Healthcare Information.

Thomas Judd, MS In healthcare for 44 years, 25 with Kaiser Permanente Currently Board Chair of IFMBE CE Division (CED); interested in developing CE contacts in 175 countries with CED. He has a certification in Clinical Engineering (CE), Healthcare Quality, and Healthcare Information Fellow of ACCE, HIMSS, and AIMBE Started the ACCE Advanced CE Seminars for health leaders in 1991; until now, over 50 seminars involving 90 countries.

WHO/PAHO Healthcare Technology Advisor since 1989 on 3 NGO faith-based boards doing Maternal Child Healthcare improvements in Haiti, North Macedonia, and Central Asia.
