A Healthcare Technology Assessment (HTA) and Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) specialist with more than 20 years of experience in medical devices, including industry activities, hospitals, government, and international organizations. Nowadays, he works as a national consultant in technology and evaluation management for Pan American Healthcare Organization (PAHO / WHO) and a specialist consultant for the National Institute of Metrology (NIMETRO) for the evaluation of efficiency and safety certification processes for electro-medical equipment. He is graduated in healthcare technology and also with a postgraduate degree in Hospital Administration, Clinical Engineering and Technology Management. Currently, he is enrolled in the Master’s program in HTA of the National Institute of Cardiology in Rio de Janeiro. He works as a Healthcare Policy Manager for the Boston Scientific Corporation company in Brazil and is an active member of the HTA division of the IFMBE.
